Back in summer of 2017, when I participated in my first art fair, I had no clue what I had to do to sell artwork at a fair. I had no clue about starting a business or how I would receive payments. I was so excited that I had an opportunity to show my art to people outside of friends and family, that I did not plan well.

A week before the art fair, I became ambitious and decided to do a live art demo without thinking of all the supporting tasks that need to be completed. I finally scrambled to set up square to receive payments and forgot quite a few things (which I had to improvise on the spot). 

To make it easier for artists and creatives out there, to have atleast a basic list would be a huge help. So I put together this free very basic  art fair checklist, which you can use depending on the location of the art fair and if indoors or outdoors and the type of art sold.
